I downloaded a summary of the first 30 results for your viewing pleasure:

http://www.10volt.org/2008_survey/2008-12-15/SurveySummary.html

To help protect the responders, I hid the files that contain identifying
information (names and emails). For those who want to do an in-depth
analysis of results, they can be downloaded in a variety of formats:

CSV Format
Spreadsheet Format
XML Format
HTML Format
PDF Format

so email me if you are interested.

I paid for a month's subscription (mostly for the downloads, but also in
case we get more than 100 responses). So I figure I'll let the survey
run about three weeks.

BTW, because Zeldman linked directly to the survey, I think that has
skewed results, but in a good way (toward newer users, more front-end
developers, more ALA users). The open-ended questions have actually
yielded some good (and entertaining) feedback IMO.

over and out.

Erika

PS: This one is about quality (open ended responses) rather than
quantity, but just to compare, Cody sent out a "40 question" survey
December 2 or 3, 2001
http://lists.evolt.org/archive/Week-of-Mon-20011203/062761.html
when thelist had 2,500 subscribers.
Within 48 hours we had approx 250 responses

I don't recall ever seeing the responses or summary though...
& I don't know if we've done any other surveys...
