it even validates to HTML4.01 Transitional (except for the 'wrap' 
attribute, but i chose to leave that in)...

but that's what i was talking about for anything in a <pre></pre> 
block... adding the 'select' button (thanks, rudy, for the idea) helps 
ensure that it's not just a useless form that we have to prevent 
code creep...
