Oh poo, I'm talking crap again...  seems like when I used DW to edit the
page with the links I hard coded one link to file://etc. but left the other
as doc relative, so to be mangled by the  <base
href="http://evolt.org/evolt/"> tag.

Well I'm dragging my sorry ass off to bed.
