i have a non-evolt friend who i pointed to the site the other day. he said 
his copy of IE was giving an error page for all the home links 
(http://www.evolt.org/evolt.org).

i couldn't reproduce the problem here, but we suspect it may be to do with 
microsoft's cheap patch to an old IE bug where putting a domain-like thing 
in the url path could trick the browser into returning someone else's cookies.
