In psychology, this method of evaluation, a scale of 1 to 5 is called the
"Lichert Scale". The uneven number of options allows some "safety" in
choice.

There is another kind of scale, the name of which I can't remember (is it
really important?), but it has 6 choices. The object is for people to have
to chose, basically, that they liked it or didn't. You can't sit on the
fence, partner, you gotta choose.

The side effect may be that people will be more willing to chose a 4 or a 5,
whereas the 6 maybe "perfect" or something equivalently unachievable.

Another aspect may be, thinking of Javier's statement, getting a more
international or less cultural tone to it, maybe even a less judgmental
attitude (my fellow _North_ Americans, let me tell you, there are some
_real_ deep cultural sensitivities to the way we do things here!)

Say, "Strongly Disagree", "Disagree", "Somewhat Disagree", "Somewhat Agree",
"Agree", "Strongly Agree"?

Or, we could localize it, base it on preferences?

Ok. Said too much.
