still a flat-file database though.  shouldn't be too difficult to have
coldfusion write it out.

honest, i don't see a reason to not try to sync them.

agreed.  that is an important issue.

it's always been a source of confusion.  the bigger our membership gets, the
more confusing it will be.  i think it is an issue -- big enough to do
something about.
