| yes, we'd need a description column on the categorys table with a datatype
| of long.  then, in the category add/edit/delete interface (which i've yet

| build) we'd need to add a text area for managing the new column.  finally,
| at the top of the article listing pages we'd output this category
| description.  the one exception would be the home page as it's a
collection
