no, we shouldn't, at least not until we know *why* elements that 
previously validated no longer do...

instead, can someone take a look at why the validation results are 
different now?

i have a meeting (for which i am late) that i need to get to, as well 
as a bunch of other stuff...

and since the site itself is running fine, we don't need to change 
this right now...

let's take some time and do it right -- no hacks...
