Yup. Or more accurately, throw out anything more than 2 Standard
Deviations from the mean.

Which means that if you have a bunch of ratings at one end
(say 4s and 5s) and there's 1 sitting at 1, that's the one that
goes, as the 4s and 5s aren't outliers. But the same function
should be able to cope with the opposite case, where a
5 is an outlier to ratings clustered around 1 and 2

Not had time to look up the exact calculations, sorry. Does
CF provide any stats functions out of the box? Or are there
custom tags/functions someone's prebuilt?
