just a quick note,

i found out about a new tag in cf5 that allows the flushing of the query cache when called.  so, i added it to all the necessary pages.  an article, comments, and ratings can go entirely through the process and all the data on the homepage will now reflect the changes in real time.  no more waiting for 20 minutes of inactivity for it to show.
