because she's referring to centering the table itself, not just the contents :)
if it's a 600px table and you want it to be centered on every screen res you
center the table. using the table align attribute will only center the contents
of the table

using the DIV alignment is correct. Technically the <CENTER> tag is now obsolete
in netscape :)
