hi seth

beatiful tip

very well written, too

i've actually done it, exactly as you indicated (access97) with one minor
difference -- i pasted into windows paint, not photoshop <grin>

when you paste into paint, all you have to do is save as a monochrome
bitmap -- the background will save as white (unless you have some pretty
wacky windows colours defined)

cropping is a tiny bit harder, just select all and drag the image towards
the top left to remove the top and left chrome, then go down and grab the
bottom right corner and resize to remove the rest of the chrome...

paint does a pretty good job of printing if you choose landscape
orientation

anyhow, nice tip, dude, i'm glad somebody else digs access relationship
diagrams

you are spot on with regard to your warning about relational integrity,
too -- it is not for beginners... ;o)

nevertheless if RI is thought about early on in the design, you will begin
to wonder why you never used it before...

kinda like the epiphany you get when you make the switch to css, you begin
to think, why the hell haven't i done it this way all along...

best regards

rudy
