Just personal opinion here, but I have a ViewSonic Professional Series
790 and its just *beautiful*.. I've had it for over a year at work and
recently bought another one for home, both 19 inchers.. Cost is below
$500, but can varie depending on where you shop..

The only other monitor I care for is a 17" Sony Trinitron Multiscan I
have at work too... really really sharp monitor as well, slightly higher
pricetag
