The current runtime is MRJ 2.2.2.  You can get it here:

It's ~6Mbs.  I don't know if it will help your problem or not but it should.
My understanding is that there is now very little reason or there not be
cross-platform usability issues.

Tell em that the current Mac market is growing so steadily and so quickly
that it would behoove them to stop being digital snobs and get their act
together.
