Ouch.  Someone must've had a real attack of creativity that day.

FWIW that's called a 'matryoshka' literally:  'mothers in a small
package' (which is about as close as I can describe it without TOTALLY
mangling the hell out of it).

Thing is, you'd think that someone so happy about two-dollar metaphors
would know what the damned thing was actually called, no?

Yeah, right.  Gotta love those clever-to-the-point-of-vomiting folks. 
Hope I haven't automatically put myself in with them (since, after all,
this post is straight out of "Jeopardy").

<chuckle>  Are lives are so full of people who exist, it seems, merely
to entertain the rest of us.  Especially when we show up at the
workplace.
