MacOS 8.5 onward has a Personal Web Services control panel. Give that a
whirl.

How soon do you need it? If you can wait until OSX, you'll have Apache
(note to people not following the endless 'next generation Apple OS'
saga: OSX is based on FreeBSD with a Mac-style GUI at the front end.
Yes, Unix robustness. Mac usability. Sounds like a dream team to
me...).
OSX workstation should be out over the Winter at some point.
