[thelist] including $variables in php

Hi Adrian,

Sorry ... haven't learned php yet ... :-(

But ... there is another way to "hardcode" your table colors!

For SOME applications, (probably not good in every case), you can "hardcode"
your table colours straight into your database as another field. That way
you can re-use them pretty easily from any page in your site.

[I did this with a small site for my bowling league about a year ago ... I
put a column in my "team_names" table that contained the "official team
colors" --- yeah, I used <font> tags and set foreground and background
colors ... I suppose (if I had the time) I should re-do the field as class
names ... and reference an external style sheet ... but it's not real high
on my priorities at the moment.]

Depending on what you are doing ... this may be an option .... ?

HTH,

Ron L.

to mysql/php. So that I dont have to hard code colours of
tables and other
things I used $variables to define them once and then used
said variables.
