[thelist] *nix/win tip (was: Banner Exchanges)

Hi,
I've just started using it and it seems ok. Installs a whole load of tools
as well such as C++ compilers, grep etc. A new colleague uses it almost
exclusively. My Unix knowledge has increased dramatically. It's good for
bash tutorials etc. especially as I haven't got my Linux box on the web yet
:-).

I thought you had to give a tip if you just asked a question, oh well....

Anyone written a banner exchange then?

 Doug
