[thelist] Sorting a SELECT form field

If it's a dynamic field, and I'm sure it must be or you wouldn't need to ask
how to sort it, the only way I know is to sort the data before you use it to
create the field.. in other words, I don't think you can do that with html.

How on earth do I sort a SELECT field?  Surely there's a SORTED=TRUE
property or something that I can attach to it.
