Memo from Martin P Burns of PricewaterhouseCoopers

-------------------- Start of message text --------------------

In a similar vein, can I invite everyone in or near London
to an evolt birthday bash on Thursday 14th (ie next week),
somewhere in Central London (suggestions welcome).

Also, if the following week is not too late, can I suggest another
get-together in Edinburgh for the following week? Date suggestions
welcome, but for location, I suggest the Caley Sample Room, Slateford
Road.

Cheers
Martin

<tip type="the point of design for commercial clients">
Never forget, the point of design for nearly all commercial
jobs is to increase the client's long-term value. Usually this
will involve helping their site's users to achieve the task which
they visit the site to achieve. And that, my friend, is a usability
issue.

Design is not there just to look pretty, or to win awards for the
designer.

Subject: [thelist] evolt get-together in toronto

everyone in or near toronto is invited to a special evolt pre-holiday
get-together on wednesday december 13 (alternate date: friday the 15th),
time 7 pm or thereabouts, location to be determined, but definitely on the
subway line -- if anyone has a suggestion for a location, please let me
know, it should have both smoking and non-smoking areas, a wide selection
of alcoholic beverages, i.e. not like that idiotic microbrewery i was in
earlier this week, where they didn't even carry molson's ex, eh!

please contact me off list and let me know if you can make it, i will post
a final headcount and location later next week
