Memo from Martin P Burns of PricewaterhouseCoopers

-------------------- Start of message text --------------------

Netscape is behaving correctly - a space before the </a> should
act as a space within the link.

Much as I adore BBEdit when I'm working on Macs, I do like the
customisation abilities of HomeSite/CFStudio, particularly in their
CodeSweepers (yeah, I know that you can customise BBEdit with
regexps, and that BBEdit regexps seem more sensible than HomeSite
ones (ie closer to sh/Perl ones))

<Breaking News>
As I was writing this and experimenting in BBEdit at the same time I seem to
have narrowed the problem down to </A> tags. BBEdit 6.01's formatting adds
spaces before </A> tags. Meanwhile Netscape hates these spaces and puts
little gaps after all of my graphics that link to something.
