If you use document.getElementById it works fine in Opera. They do indeed 
have some problems with getElementsByTagName, but  support some assorted 
methods and properties of the V5 DOM, and by those some DHTML. View

in Opera 5: the DHTML on the right side (clicking the links opens a layer) 
works fine.
