it's supposed to look like a black lab on roller skates, but that's
pretty close...

here's what i can offer:
- it looks like NN4.x on linux doesn't dig the CSS around the form
elements... i don't recall seeing this in testing, so it's new to me...
- NN4.x has problems with the margin attribute when defined in the
CSS for the <body> tag... as such, it causes the scroll bars
without actually needing a scroll... to leave the attribute out would
make it wonky for all non-NN4.x users, and even for the NN4.x
users... to modify it with <body> attributes or other tweaks would
make the CSS or the HTML non-compliant...
all in all, we targetted compliance to specs over absolute precise
uniformity of rendering across *all* platforms and *all* browsers...
as such, there will be quirks... but with N6, Opera5, and IE5, there
is more standards-compliance than ever, so while this site is
usable with all browsers, those that have higher compliance to
rendering specs will show it closer to the way it was designed...
