[thelist] xhtml conversion conundrum

The body isn't flush left or top is because you have no BODY margins 
defined in the style sheet to replace the leftmargin="0" topmargin="0" 
marginwidth="0" marginheight="0" from the BODY tag in the HTML version.

I don't even see the background image tags in the XHTML code that are in 
the HTML one.
