Arhh I hear you cry, this old chestnut.

I am sure a while ago I heard people talking about HTML based email, I think
personal its the devil incarnate, but it had to happen sooner or later.

A client has asked me to look into create an e-card type site with HTML
email being sent. Could anyone tell me is this as simple as sending a mail
via my server scripting of choice in HTML?

Or is there more to it than that?
