Rather than maintaining 2 sets of pages, one for onscreen reading
and one for printing, why not swap bits of your page template
in and out with XSSI?

This is how:

One thing though - your printable stylesheet *must* define fonts
in points - it's what printers understand. Some printers interpret
px too literally - 10px text on a 1600dpi printer is quite small...
