is there to get the results of a sql query to sort by actual date instead
of numbered date?  for instance, right now it will give:

1/12/2000
12/03/2000
7/06/2000
9/04/2000

instead of:

1/12/2000
7/06/2000
9/04/2000
12/03/2000

any suggestions?  btw, i'm using asp if that makes a difference...  thanks!
