[thelist] Discussion Board with Email Notification?

I'm looking for a bulletin board solution (preferably perl cgi) which has
the feature whereby a member can choose to be notified by email whenever a
post occurs in a discussion he's interested in.

Ultimate Bulletin Board has this feature only if the member is the person
starting a particular message thread.  People who post replies can't choose
to be email alerted.

The other boards I've looked at don't have this feature at all.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated.  TIA.
