Fireworks and ImageReady do similar things.

I don't use ImageReady too much, but Photoshop does have some memory 
issues.  Give it plenty of memory.  Sometimes it will tie up memory after 
you've closed the program and you have to restart your machine to get it back.

Freehand/Fireworks:
Isn't it Freehand that still gives you all those old MacPaint fill patterns?
You know, the ones that seem cool,
but never look good no matter where you put them?
I love them.
