At a ColdFusion User Group meeting last night that had an Allaire rep giving
the latest updates on Neo - he said it will run on Mac.

which makes this whole conversation about supporting macs pretty much
pointless.  fwiw, the code name for the project is neo.  it's entirely java
based which means that *any* machine with a jvm (java virtual machine) will
be able to run cf server (neo).  no port necessary.  this is another reason
why i think that allaire should continue on their current development
roadmap and not get sidetracked by shortsighted platform support requests
(cause they'll be a non-issue soon anyway).
