[thelist] Update on News.com redesign

Hi folks. I'm back from vacation (and no, the earthquake here in India
didn't affect me)

Just thought I'd let you know that the new design of News.com is apparently
only temporary for 30 days (but don't quote me on that). 

I guess that based on user feedback, they'll either keep it or scrap it.

I just would like to request that if you really dislike their new, square,
in-your-face ads (see
http://news.cnet.com/news/0-1005-200-4674975.html?tag=New+ads+suck as an
example), write to Jai Singh (jais at cnet.com) who is the Editor-in-Chief and
tell him just how much you hate it.
