I believe there is also a feature in Fireworks which is supposed to make 
Symbols out of graphics . . .much like turning graphics into Instances in 
Flash.  Then when you modify an instance, it supposedly carries it over to 
the other instances of the same "symbol" when you tell it to do so.  I have 
not actually used this technique;  just remember reading something about it, 
so can't swear by it.  Might be worth checking out, though.
