[thelist] Editors ..

Hi folks ..

Currently, I use an advanced version of notepad to create my web site
projects. Everything is hand-coded, with HTML, ASP, include files, etc. I
would like to add a WYSIWYG editor of some sort. But, one that does NOT
mess up any of my code at all. Ideally, I'd like it to have both a design
view and a code view. Something that when in design/WYSIWYG mode, will show
exactly (or close to it), what will be displayed in the browser, i.e. with
include files and CSS shown and ASP executed. Needs to integrate with PWS
on Win98.

Am I dreaming, or is there a program that will do this? I prefer
hand-coding "most of the time".. but there are days when I'd rather just
edit content/design without worrying about the code until I get the look
that I want.

Homesite and Hotmetal Pro neither seem to do what I want, though I only have
evaluation versions. If the program can't process include files or ASP,
then it isn't much help in design mode for what I'm looking for.

Any recommendations?

TIA,

Michele
