Anyone got any book/URL recommendations on this?
Browsing through bookshops has proven fruitless -
everything's way beyond fundamentals.

I only use ColdFusion and JavaScript at the moment,
so I don't need anything too advanced. On the other
hand, I'm using them at a basic level OK. I just
feel the need for a 'Programming 101' text to get
my mind around all the background things that people
who did computer science at school/uni probably
take for granted.

Any suggestions?
