[thelist] Netscape doesn't understand 'base href=' ??

Evoltians,

I am having a problem with Netscape 4.7 not reading or understanding my 'base href' tag. IE 5 seems fine with it.

Here is my header width the 'base href' tage:

<head>
<base href="http://www.scape.com">
<title>Weekly Email</title>
etc,etc..

Here is a reference to an image in my body :

<img src="scape/content/images/newsletter/weekly_top_image.jpg" width="505" height="115" border="0">

All seems OK to me...

However, when I view the page in Netscape, all the links and images are broken. I see that Netscape has completely ignored the 'base href' tag in my header and is trying to locate the images/links without the prefix of the 'base href' value ... (does that make sense?)

Any help would be appreciated.
