Subject: [thelist] What would cause this 404 error?

Is this 404 message mean there's a problem or is it a non-issue?

The following 404 error was logged 37 times (according to the WebTrends
report). I've asked the hosting service's tech support for a clue, but I've
not received any response. There is no pdf/styles directory on the site,
only a pdf directory with no subdirectories, and the styles directory is
right off the root. The pdf directory contains only pdf files and a favicon.
The host is using Apache/Unix system if that info is of any help.

/pdf/styles/styles/styles/styles/styles/styles/styles/styles/styles/styles/s
tyles/styles/styles/styles/styles/styles/styles/styles/styles/styles/styles/
styles/styles/styles/styles/styles/styles/styles/styles/styles/styles/styles
/styles/styles/styles/styles/sty (no referrer)

This is a beginners tip -- from a beginner (I hope someone besides me didn't
know this)
<tip type="PC Mouse Wheel Browser Tricks">
PC mouse wheel/browser tricks with IE5+:
With IE5, hold down "shift" and use the wheel to "go back" or "forward" to
quickly cycle through web pages rather then use the back arrows, etc. Hold
down "ctrl" and use the wheel to quickly enlarge/reduce the font size on web
pages that use scalable systems, such as percentages (won't work when pixels
are used).
