Is there a way to insert text longer than 255 characters into an Access
database?  If not, how about Oracle?

I need to set up a system for people who don't know HTML (or ASP) to not
screw up code that is already in place, while adding new magazine-style
articles to the website we're using.  

The only other alternative I can come up with is making a bunch of
templates for individual ASP pages.

Any ideas?
