Actually, on a Mac you _can_ have multiple versions of IE.

You can't install multiple versions of IE on the same machine, and I'm
pretty sure you can't install multiple Netscapes, although one of each (IE
and NS) on the same machine is OK.  Don't forget the AOL browser, which is
where I got burned a while back.

Vmware is the way to do everything on one machine.  There are NT and Linux
versions available.  I would recommend at least 256 MB of RAM on the test
machine though.
