aren't cross skills (or multiple skills) the exception
rather than the rule?

i think we get pushed into it rather than choose to do
it. unfortunately people think they only have to hire
one person, *the web designer*, to do all of it, from
designing graphics to writing asp, simply because they
haven't got a clue of all the different tasks and
skills involved. but some of us just haven't got the
talent/interest/skills for every aspect of web design.
i find that quite stressful, i'd rather stick to
coding/usability/info architecture and leave the stuff
i don't like doing to others. i'd love to work in a
team with a graphics designer.
