i like the map approach... i know i've seen some sweet Flash and 
HTML versions somewhere... but the only reason i remember my 
timezone name is because of the tv paper...  and there is no GMT 
in my world, it's My Time +6 for my brother, My Time -1 for Austin, 
etc...

so yeah, an image might be handier on the user than a select 
menu...
