Hi, Jeff --

Two reasons. In IE, if you have 'alt=" "', you get a blank tooltip if you
hover over the image. And my understanding is that there is no difference
between space and no space in a voice browser. Unfortunately, I haven't
tested this. I'm going on advice, same as you. :)

Anybody care to verify?
