[thelist] Netscape 4 and Security Certificates

It wasn't a Y2k problem, per se, the root certificates used by these 
browsers expired on Jan 1, 2000/Dec 31, 1999. If people are surfing with 
these older browsers they will get an error message saying that their 
certificate has expired.

I believe they can still connect and do stuff - if you allow the 
certificate to be used anyway.

There should be more info at VeriSign/Thawte, and you can link to their 
updated root certificates from your page to help your users.
