You may want to give the table a minimum width.  That is, it resizes with
the window at 85% like it is, but insert a spacer image in the main content
area that keeps it from collapsing beyond a certain point.  Maybe use a 1x1
transparent image then stretch it to fit.  Make sure you put this image at
the highest point in the table as you can.
