the thing left out of the note on slashdot is that northpoint has already
fired/layed off 70-90% of their workers. there's literally no one even
left to turn out the lights.

first its the gas, then the power, then dsl. i might as well move to
mexico and at least enjoy the free weather there until all this gets
sorted out.
