editors that code color (was: RE: [thelist] what do you use to create code from layout?)

I've been using editplus it has syntax highlighting for a bunch of different 
things like html, php, java, c etc. It also has built in ftp.

along this same line of questioning does anyone know of a good linus text 
program that does color? All the post I've seen so far are for mac or win.
