Good tip djc - I didn't know that. If you don't have the Gimp you can use xwd (it's in the core X install and X comes with the RH distro). Open up a terminal and type

xwd > screenshot

Your cursor will change to a + and you click in the window you want to capture. You can then open screenshot in choosen image prgram and save as whatever.
