I find it very interesting that someone will waste
hours if not days trying to find just the right
software for free.  Meanwhile, the hours you are
wasting are taking away from other possibly paying
jobs or work related tasks, so the software really
doesn't end up being free.

And this is just to FIND the software.  You then have
to setup/install hopefully it runs properly, then
learn to use, probably hunt around newsgroups trying
to figure out exactly what you want to do, etc etc
etc.


Sometimes paying a few hundred bucks for a piece of
software is actually far cheaper than "free."


I'm speaking from experience, both my own and others
I've seen go through the same frustrating process.
