--Not without having the user register er something.

*Or* you can be sneaky like give Des Moines people a URL with a location
code on the end:

http://www.my.marketingsite.com/lookhere.html?from=DM

and though you don't have to do anything with the "from" value in the URL on
the page (in fact the page doesn't even have to be aware of the query string
(as an ASP or CF page); it can be plain text html), it will be in the server
log and you can run stats on how often it appears.
