[thelist] PHP/ASP/ColdFusion - Keeping application private...

Okay, say you've made a smashing new application, which does everything
a client wishes for. You've worked long and hard on it, and you want to
sell this product individually. You want to allow each customer to run
it off their own php/asp/coldfusion/etc. server. What do you do to keep
them from getting at the source files? You don't want them to see the
code, but they have access to the raw server-side files through their
ftp/etc. What would you do?

Anyone's input is appreciated. If anyone knows of any good
articles/resources on this, please refer.

Thank you,
