I'm not anti-flash, but I've done this for weeks at a time. Lynx
actually does a pretty good job rendering most pages. Better than it
should. Of course, it could do an even BETTER job if designers wouldn't
be braindead about text considerations when creating their sites.

I don't ask that designers view their sites in lynx and ensure
compatibility, but using ALT="" in all those spacer.gif tags and
intelligent ALT's on their image links could take a site from impossible
to easily usable from ANYTHING that can render text properly in a few
extra seconds.

Of course, I won't rant :).
